Rx Boiler Room, created by award-winning chef, restaurateur and cookbook author Rick Moonen, has opened inside The Shoppes at Mandalay Place. The venue features a steampunk-inspired restaurant and lounge, with décor reminiscent of industrialism during the 19th century Victorian era, that serves up re-defined comfort food classics and hand-crafted cocktails. Moonen has created a spirited menu by combining the alchemy of food and drink, unleashing a playful experience for guests with experimental techniques and surprises around every corner. Dishes to share or jump-start a meal include Chicken Pot Pie Nuggets (natural jus with peas and carrots); Inside Out French Onion Grilled Cheese (provolone, parmesan and gruyere); and Braised Oxtail Croquettes Dijonnaise (lemon aioli), to name a few.Kumi
Kumi is an inviting and engaging venue, featuring modern twists on authentic Japanese design. Kumi’s 10,000 square feet of space will offer various dining areas with seating for up to 300 people. Upon entering, guests will immediately be drawn to the bar adorned in traditional Japanese symmetrical patterns in shades of cobalt blue and white. Rather than a conventional bar display, beverage selections will be showcased in traditional Japanese jewelry cases creating various vignettes across the bar. The anchor of the dining room will be Kumi’s sushi bar, featuring glazed cobalt blue tiles in a scalloped pattern inspired by common Japanese homes. Adjacent to the sushi bar will be a back rotunda with walls painted with giant interpretations of cherry blossom trees. Letting the cuisine speak for itself, all tables will have views of the sushi bar to allow for an open-kitchen feel, so guests can watch as Chef Motoyama masterfully prepares each dish.Citizens Kitchen and Bar - NOW OPEN!

A cozy and intimate lounge offers a sexy, soulful atmosphere, with a dj spinning nightly.Aureole
Charlie Palmer`s renowned New York Aureole enjoys a reputation as one of the finest restaurants in the United States. Palmer, honored as the "Best Chef" in New York by the James Beard Foundation, opened Aureole at Mandalay Bay in 1999, earning the prestigious Four Diamond Award each year since. Pre-eminent international restaurant designer Adam Tihany created a sophisticated and luxurious contemporary restaurant - as per Palmer`s directive, it is "an Aureole for the next millennium." One ingenious Tihany design feature has become the restaurant`s visual trademark - the four-story wine tower and its Wine Angel stewards. Palmer has secured a substantial collection of rare French and American wines from a private collector to add to a comprehensive wine list featuring selections from around the world. In 2000, Aureole received the honor of being named by Wine Spectator Magazine as one of the "Top Restaurants in the World for Wine Lovers."Border Grill
